    In this case, I don't feel the stoppage was that egregious. Machado beat the count, but had the look of someone who wanted out of there upon rising. And, given what had transpired in the last fight and in the second round of the rematch, it didn't look like it would end well for Machado.

    There's no guarantee of a fighter getting away with that strategy, ever. When it bites somebody in the ass they have nobody to blame except themselves. It never isn't a gamble with the potential to backfire humiliatingly - sort of like an NHL team pulling goalie while down in the final couple of minutes.
