I'm not entirely sure that fight was strictly on the level. But anyway, quite an amusing and entertaining fight.
That left hook would've knocked down a building and Flintoff got up from it like it was nothing. What a beast.
hahahah. another slick black american bites the dust... no, but on a serious note, freddie did pretty well for someone who's never fought before. he was coming forward while his more experienced opponent was being backed up and reduced to nothing more than putting his arms out in front to protect himself. he got a knock down, but that was it. i'm glad he's got it off his chest anyway. he doesn't need to be getting in there again... well, unless it's an american! he'd be sure to win every time then. hahaha
Ohhh yes like US boxer Ward taking on a guy in Pavlik that was destroyed by an old over the hill BHop years ago A lot of US fans hammering Calzaghe after he beat Bhop and saying he was ancient and over the hill and finished and thats why Calzaghe fought him Now of course years later Pavlik is seen as a credible Ward opponent why? Because he is american :good
He did look like a novice but you have to credit his conditioning and energy, if he can punch cleaner and tidy it up who knows.
He's never boxed a day in his life until 34 and after 140 odd days of training he beats a poor but legitimate professional, that's good going. Well done Freddy, if more people showed that kind of drive and determination the world would be a better place.
Theoretically you could, a knockdown isn't an automatic point deduction or 10-8 round, it's just fairly unusual because the knockdown recipient would have to be dishing out a real beating the rest of the round.
TBF probably the best performance from a US heavyweight in the last 5 years, props to dawson he gave it a go
He did well for an american, went to a points decision and got a KD being the away fighter -how many American heavy's can say that
