Golota fighting Przemyslaw Saleta in Poland, Saleta is the former European champ who hasn't fought since 2006. Thoughts?
Golota was a good fighter in his prime. Good enough to rule the division today, without a doubt. Sadly for him, it's a long time since then, so hopefully this return is only a one off.
When he first popped on the scene, I thought he could be the real deal. He was big, powerful with both hands, good physical shape-------------but his head just ain't right. The guy just implodes from time to time and it was not good for boxing because you never knew which Golota was going to show up on any given night. If true, this will not end well. Some people should just stay away from the game once retired.
I think there's a market for these type of fights. I'd like to see "Grudge Match Night" Finally get to see Holmes vs Foreman and someday :!: Maybe 20 years from now Floyd vs Pac :good
:deal Just imagine Golota against who a lot on this site call "the worst HW of all time" Adamek would end up like.
