What was it? Dude clearly had some problems between his ears but he showed a lot of skill at 6'4" 240+ lbs

Very good jab, combinations, and upper body movement. Would give all kinds of angles and had very good hand speed. Good foot work as well. Gave Bowe career ending beatings. I don't think he really fulfilled his full potential due to his mentality.

Great talent but mental midget. Had he not melted down vs Bowe twice or Grant his resume would be one of the better ones of the 90s top contenders. He could of gotten the nod in both the Ruiz loss (I felt he edged it) and the Byrd draw. He would of had a damn fine career.
I don’t know what was going on with him going into the Lewis fight. I don’t think he was right, but after what Tyson did and Brewster I believe he would always be quite vulnerable to big punchers. He melted down against resistance. Change that about him and you can add 3 wins in my opinion. Bowe 2x and Grant. Otherwise I think his career plays out the same.
He had talent and skill for sure

Golota is really an interesting case. He was injected with lidocaine before the Lewis bout and had a seizure afterwards ... It's clear he wasn't ready for Lewis that night and shouldn't have fought him. He would either find a way to lose or have some unique issues plaguing him ...

He was already damaged by the time Tyson got to him and I haven't seen his fight with Brewster.

Golota looked impressive as hell beating the paste out of Bowe. His problems were mental. He couldn't control his natural inclination to turn a boxing match into a fight behind a dumpster. I think he could have done a lot better with his size and talent.

Psychological problems. He should/could have won a title against Byrd and Ruiz, but he was his own worst enemy.

He couldn’t beat Grant or a faded Tyson. That was his level.
