    Dear Friends
    kind regards
Today we continue with our Fantasy warfare series.
Jack Sharkey is the tough old time World heavyweight champion.
He was ahead on points against Jack Dempsey before he was knocked out in the 7th round in 1927 in the World heavyweight title elimination bout.
Sharkey became World heavyweight champion after beating Max Schmeling in 1930 but lost it a year later to Primo Carnera.
Sharkey was knocked out in 3 rounds by Joe Louis in his very last bout in 1936.
Sharkey was disqualified in his first match against Schmeling in the 4th round in 1930 for Gene Tunneys vacant title for low blow punching.
Andrew Golota is famed for his low blow punching too.
Golota pummelled Riddick Bowe with jabs, combinations and low blows in their two famous matches getting himself disqualified on both occassions.
Golota however is a very good boxer with victories over Tim Witherspoon, Chris Byrd and John Ruiz.
Who would win in a prime for prime match up between Andrew Golota and Jack Sharkey in a 12 round match up?
Would Sharkey be good enough to outbox the "foul pole"?
Or would Golota use his arsenal to bully Sharkey into submission?
    I await your views.
    yours thankfully
    John

Just like he showed against Po'uha, Nicholson, Witherspoon, Norris, McBride, and Mollo, Andrew Golota is actually able to use his advantages to his benefit (contrary to popular belief). With a height and aggression advantage, Golota rips right through Jack Sharkey forcing him to fight his (Golota's) fight. Andrew unloads his powerful barrage on Jack who is quickly overpowered and overwhelmed as he's never shared the ring with such a ruffian as Golota, who is arguably the dirtiest boxer in history. Sharkey quits by the fourth round. This contest would prove to be brusque and for Jack Sharkey's sake, the bout ending in the 4th would be a boon given the sheer nature of Andrew's wrath. Just ask Riddick Bowe (there's a reason he never gave Golota a third fight), Danell Nicholson, Samson Po'uha, Kevin McBride, Mike Mollo, etc.

Golota had an 84 inch reach...............he could have become a dominate champion if not for his mental problems, boxing has a lot to do with a person's mental condition, with Golovkin you never knew when he was mentally right. The two Bowe fights should be changed to a KO, because Tony Weeks and Bob Bennett have made low blows legal.............
