Andrew Golota vs David Tua

Tua late stoppage when way behind.

 

I think Golota would've beaten Tua with his jab as long as he didn't go into low blow mode.

 

Golata as a excellent chance of winning this. He could out box him with the jab, right hand s keep him honest and keep a cool head. If can do that it's a unanimous for golata.

 

Reportedly golota was beating him in sparring, they were both under duva

I'll take golota to take a comfortable decision, maybe hurting tua in the process with some combos and body punches

 

Golota was a gym monster, Tua not so much.

Golota had lapses and would freeze often when facing bigger punchers. I see this going Tua's direction, sooner than later.

 

Golota had mental problems. If only he had discipline. Golota and Tua were once promoted by Main Events
at the same time. Ronnie Shield ( Golota ) said in a interview
" We were training in Florida and we let Andrew and David spar together. I was training Andrew and David by
Roger Bloodworth. It was a real fight , back and forth. And then Andrew started hitting David low. David
went back and hit him low. They just took turns in hitting each other low. It just went back and forth
hitting each other low it was crazy. We had to jump in and stop them. Andrew was a big guy strong guy
who could really hit. I think it just angered him he couldn't hurt David. Even thought David was so
much smaller than him. That's why he started hitting him low. "
Based on this spar i pick Tua as if they entered the ring Golota would be already mentally beat.

 

If this is the fabled head on completely straight Golota? I honestly think he'd beat Tua. He was a big, skillful nasty son of a ***** in there in-between sporadic episodes of him losing his mind.

 

Yes! Andy whooped on the Tuaman in the gym. Would we see a repeat in the ring? Well it is quite likely that the sparring between them was a sign of things to come. But I like Andy in this one. He's just much bigger than Tua and I think he would dominate David with the jab.

The biggest curiosity for me, however, is who would the late Lou Duva pick to train in this H2H match-up ?

 

Here you go again with Golota! You must be related to the big dummy. If there ever was a definition of a big dummy with boxing gloves, it's Andrew Golota. The big dummy can't even win a big fight when he's dominating his opponent like Riddick Bowe, no he get's disqualified, TWICE! Once Tua taps his chin, Golota has a panic attack and craps himself. This is gonna be a lot like Tyson vs the Dummy. The Dummy can't handle the iron chinned, brick handed Tua and after he gets hurt he quits AGAIN.

 

Realistically Tua will eventually hurt Golota causing him to quit one way or another or get TKO'd. At his best though, Golota could outbox Tua quite easily. But we know his mentality wouldn't let that happen.

 

Three realistic outcomes for this fight.

Golota outpoints Tua if he keeps his head (not completely out of the realms of possibility)

Golota gets frustrated and gets himself DQed after leading on points

Tua takes Golota's best and TKOs him late while way behind on points.

Any of these possibilities is a fairly strong likelihood.

 

If they both held a ranking at the time, then the only possible outcome would be a draw, because otherwise one of them would have to win!

I suspect that in practice, Golotta would build up a wide points lead, and then somehow find a way to loose.
