Two Talented enigma's, who baffled their own cornermen on occassions, they could punch, move well and had good Jab's and could put their punches together well, but certainly seemed to have a part of the psychological Jigsaw missing, Lets just say both were good "Ön Top" fighters who prefered the scenic country lane root to victory instead of the more risky but exciting Demolition-Derby Autobahn.

Moorer, The Cold-Eyed Lt-Heavy, who was once quoted as saying the he "Craved Blood" seemed to lose these Vampiristic tendancies once he got amongst the Big boy's, despite looking capable of Terminating matters earlier on occassions. Golota of course, on more than one occassion was to snatch Defeat from the Jaws of Victory....Two enigma's indeed..
Golota has a Lot...but Does Moorer have More ? Andrew or Michael

Golota has the raw tools to beat Moorer. An excellent power jab, strong right hand, decent chin and superior size.

I think Moorer will win in spite of that because of Golota's mental deficiencies.

Bowe had great durability to be able withstand the hidings Golota gave him in those two fights. He even broke Golota's jaw in the second fight.

Moorer might very well have been a better boxer than Bowe. But he didn't have Bowe's size, strength, power, or durability.

For those reasons I feel like Golota could dominate and even kayo Moorer. This is if he didn't wig out and quit or foul out first. If he keeps his cool the way he did against Chris Bird, for example, I think he beats Moorer who was a great puncher at LHWT but just a good one at HWT.

That Moorer probably wins because of an edge in 'mental strength'...

    Interesting. I like it.

Moorer is actually right handed but boxed southpaw. His right jab, hook, uppercut, lead, etc. were all strong punches. His overhand left and cross were accurate but not huge punches for him at HW. Moorer had good speed and footwork for a HW, which you would expect from a guy who moved up from LHW. He stopped Alex Stewart, Bert Cooper, Frans Botha, Terrence Lewis, and Vassiliy Jirov. He won decisions vs. Bonecrusher Smith, Evander Holyfield, Axel Schulz, and Vaughn Bean. He was stopped by George Foreman, Evander Holyfield, and David Tua. 52-4-1 (40) overall and 15-2 (11) in world title fights at LHW and HW (counting WBO)... only 5-2 (1) at HW though.

Golota is 2" taller, with a couple of inches in reach as well, he is also about 20-25 Lbs. heavier. 41-9-1 (33) 1NC overall and 0-3-1 in world title fights. He stopped Samson Pouha, Danell Nicholson, Quinn Navarre, Terrence Lewis, and Kevin McBride. He won decisions vs. Corey "T-Rex" Sanders, Tim Witherspoon, Jesse Ferguson, and Orlin Norris. He was stopped by Lennox Lewis, Michael Grant, Lamon Brewster, Lennox Lewis, Tomasz Adamek, and Przemyslaw Saleta. He lost twice to Riddick Bowe by DQ. Golota did well and really hurt Bowe, Bowe hurt Golota as well. Golota kept fouling in both fights and had no choice other than to DQ Golota. Golota fought Chris Byrd to a 12 round draw. Many felt Golota won. Golota dropped John Ruiz a couple of times and the fight was close but scored for Ruiz after 12 rounds. Many felt Golota deserved the win. Mike Tyson stopped Golota after 2 rounds of boxing but the result was changed to a NC. Tyson broke Golota's cheek bone.

I don't know who to pick but I'm leaning toward Moorer. He seemed to keep his composure a little better.

I'll take Golota. He did pretty well against undersized opponents.

In paper, Golota has all the attributes.

Yet he never won an important fight.

Which a fight would Moorer would be.

He might be leading on all cards, and he might quit.

So either DQ or TKO by Moorer after having been behind most of the fight.

Moorer knocks him out or makes him quit, Golata would find a way to lose

I think I'll favor Andrew. In order to make Golata quit you had to get him in serious trouble first, and the opposite could very well happen in this fight. Golata had the advantage in size, power and a superior jab. When I look at the Foreman and Bert Cooper fights, it seems to me that Moorer ( although good ) was vulnerable.

I'm picking Moorer. I like Golota, but I think his talented gets overrated. Moorer was definitely talented. Andrew hit hard enough to take Moorer out, but though Moorer had his psychological difficulties too, I still think he had more will to win and that would probably help him edge Golota out. Would make a great trilogy!

I'll take Andrzej as well. He was also more aggressive and powerful than "Double M".

Moorer and those accurate hands of his get the job done.
