If Golota's not at his absolute best Spinks is going to take him apart Cooney style.

Spinks by decision, but he had better box his ass off to do it.

Have to see how he stands up to the fouling too. If Golota catches him in the balls enough to slow him down and not get disqualified it could go bad for Spinks. If the fights clean the Spinks that beat Holmes will box Golotas ears off.

interesting but by spinks's history he is known to take outhustle bigger guys. he is a slick passive fighter...i should say boxer becuase thats what he prefers to be known as a boxer. he works off all the aggresion you throw at him (this is also a reaosn why the tyson-spinks fight was almost even money) this is what he did in the olympics when he won his gold medal being a counterpuncher with a slicksters mentality. he counters with awkward over hand rights and im talking about the cricketer bowl style of overhand right. a decent jab and a nice left hook when planted.

golota which i have heard is pronounced gota.never knew that...anyways he is maybe an olympian and had a decent amatuer background but he is far from talented and is not that impressive only power and the size/wieght give him a bit of menace. no main tools the right hand is dangerous so is his left hand. but really his jab is lowsy his right hand is seen a mile away and his left hook is just too slow to be any use unless he has got his man tied up and abused.

i dont know every way i see it, i see spinks beating him every move.

Thanks Russell I had your exact thought. You made it easy for me. Chances ar Spinks would take Golota apart because even Golota at his best would probably fall short against the Jinx.

I expect Golota to do really well in ruining Spinks, untill he finds some way to lose the fight.
Watch Golota in his prime against Bowe..... he was an awesome boxer, jabbing, hooking off the jab, combo's, upper body movement, a huge man at a trim 6'4 235lbs, but no heart at all..... sadly.

I think that Golota does very well and beats Spinks in a unanimous decision... Larry was old.. if Golota is not old when they fight and is motivated i would go with the Pole... Spinks didnt beat any heavyweights of significance besides an old Larry...wish he would have fought Evander at crusierweight....
