McCall. Golata will be right in front of him and he'll eat a looping right hand the 2nd half of the fight and get hurt. And fall apart and get stopped. In the earlier rounds he'll land a ton of punches but they won't have much of an effect on Oliver. But once Golata becomes the guy who's turn it is absorbing the big shots, it'll be all over.
Talk about two guys who both have mental issues. Golota could outpoint McCall on one of his sane nights but I'd also have to go for the more durable man. McCall is actually one of the most durable fighters I've ever seen, physically.
Golota is the superior boxer and could dominate but he will get frustrated by not being able to stop McCall. I see Golota throwing it all away again in the last few rounds. God it's tough being a Golota fan.
The world of HW boxing history would be a very different place if they'd found the right medication for that man.
Id go with Mccall,he is the better fighter in my opinion. He has only really fallen apart once in a fight where as Golota has seemed to lose it a few times.I think Golota would go to bits after a few rounds when he realised he could not hurt Mccall.Mccall is dangerous for the full fight as he showed against Akinwande,i just dont think Golota could hold it together round after round.
I see McCall tagging Golota big at some stage and KO'ing him, maybe coming from behind like he did against Akiwande
Mcall just never had the killer instinct to push the pace. He was programmed for one fight against Lewis by Emanuel Steward, but other than that he was just there fighting at his opponents pace, and Im not sure he had enough to make Golota quit. Golota had better skills, and it took a little more than just being there till the end to get Golota unsettled. Id pick Golota UD.
As far as I know, McCall only mentall fell apart once, under extraordinary conditions. I think he keeps trying to pressure Golota and walking in on him until he either catches Andrew with something big or Golota does something weird and stupid.
I know we're all here to debate hypothetical match-ups, but this fight has no real significance for me. I don't see Golata knocking out McCall and nor do I see Oliver as bringing any real goods to the table... Unless this turns into an all out war with controversial episodes spewing out the sides, then I think the fans would have been in for a very long, boring, and possibly dirty evening, with whoever took their meds that day as winner via decision..... Good evening..
Basically. If McCall shows up with some **** in his vinegar, he melts Golota late. If he shows up passive, ala Holmes and Bruno fights, and the extreme example being the Lewis rematch, Golota gets over him.
Changes mind to Golota UD after rewatching some Golota fight recently. He has too many tools and McCall is probably too lazy
