Golata would find a way to lose, probably late on after a good start. Mercer-Witherspoon was a great fight, neither guy was ever quite the same afterwards.
i agree dr mo...mercer/witherspoon was a great hard fight and i agree both guys careers were never the same afeter that fight....i honestly thought witherspoon won on body punching and power punches....mercer outjabbed tim so i gues the judges saw it that way...but i thought witherspoon won.
It was a brutal fight, 2 tough old warhorses slugging it out & they both landed over 50% of their punches! Agree that 'Spoon won but he never had any luck with judges :-(
