Yes he gave Lennox one hell of a fight, he kept hurting Lennox's right hand centre knuckle with his left cheekbone..

He sat down dazed in the corner amazed at how quickly he hurt Lewis and unfortuanately the referee counted him out....

From what I've heard he got into an altercation with a man back home and Golota picked him up and slammed him on a car.

 

He is just a lazy bum. I seen him a few times over at Windy City Gym in Chicago. He would walk in on his cell phone, train for 30 mins and walk out on his cell.

 

The guy had alot of talent. But he is the mentally weakest boxer I have ever seen

 

I sat up and took notice the night he beat Dannell Nicholson in AC.. He shone that evening and showed flashes of what he could do against every other heavy in the shakeup.. Then i sat a few years later and watched him take Mike Grants heart away , only to lose his own when it mattered when Victory was all but a taste in his mouth.. He had it won and vertually told the referee he had had enough with seconds on the clock.. WTF... !!

Nuts is not the word.. and it wasn't for lack of talent...

 

Well he's committed more than one lol. There was the classic one where he received a police uniform for his charitable contributions and was wearing it around when a cop pulled him over. Then recently they found all the illegal guns in his house after some hooker ratted him out.

He is in great shape year around and even at 40 can go 12 hard rounds.

He was born with a physique most men would love to have.

 

He got an honorary badge not uniform and tried to weasel his way out of a ticket with it.

 

Ahh ok. Still pretty funny story. I'll always like Golota no matter what crazy things he does.

 

If this guy wasn't 1 can short of a 6 pack, we could have been looking a someone with ATG possibilities, thats how much talent & skill & physique he had. The total package as a HW, except for the lacking of mental strength.

Golota gets nervous in front of the camera and when attention is on him. I remember reading an interview with Golota 1 on 1 with the reporter in the restaurant and Golota had smart answers to the questions and had some funny stories to tell about Michalczewski. Now put a camera on him and he starts to stutter and sounds like an idiot.
