    His secret was nutrition.

Almonds, pistachio, and chestnuts. He had nuts in and on his mind.

He was prone to taking yours too.

In terms of h2h it's actually a serious convo. Even if you are beating golota, he may turn the fight around by beating your nuts so technically he could end up being undefeated in a h2h tournament.

    A DQ technically isn't a loss.

Right, but with a DQ you did not DEFEAT your opponent. No decision, no knockout.

It's not amusing to mock people with epilepsy.

Golota was a bit of a ballbuster.

Interesting you say Oliver was a chill guy- I have been told by a reliable source that he is very scary to be around because he refuses to be on his medication guess you got good guy Ollie.

Knew of a pro who had some talent- not a world beater but he tuned up some good ammys and pros alike in the gym he loved to fight. He had a few fights all resulting in DQs though... he would retaliate at the smallest hint of foul play accidentally headbutt him coming in? he would judo toss you and rain hammer fists down on you ect ect.

Sounds like he had severe emotional problems and anger issues. Doesn't matter how talented you are if you let your emotions get the best of you.

The best fighters have some self control and are alpha males that don't overreact to the slightest bit of trouble or discomfort.

I wanted to like Golota as a fighter he looked so graceful in the ring at times that I rooted for him in the second Bowe fight (Bowe was also a dirty fighter) until he head butted Bowe. I remember saying this guys is a blank. Fill in the curse word. Bowe was getting the stuffing beat out of him early on and was offering no resistance other than just still standing on his feet. And Golota went and launched a head butt. I said something wrong with this guy and sure enough he ended up getting dq’d a second time with only a round to go in a fight he was dominating. Just didn’t have the mental judgement or fortitude to handle success never mind adversity.
