A bad 12 months for those powder puff Selby Girls in the ring - throw them in a James DeGale farewell PPV prizefighter event with Natasha Jonas and Katie Taylor.

I did not expect to see this result and was expectng Selby to be chasing Edwards down after this one. Good finish to the fight

His loyalty to sanigar has cost him here. Sanigar should of put his bloody hands in his pocket and got that fight over here.

It was a strange k.o tho. I know the liver shots can be debilitating but there was no pain on Selbys face, usually your writhing on the ground if you're been stopped off the left hook to body. The count was odd too but Selby didn't argue against it.

The whole ordeal of going out to Mexico also with no prep as they literally went out in the last week he was probably worn out. And whilst looking good in the rounds that were scored, the Mexican was tough, although raw(ish).

Can't help feeling , Andrews career would of been so much different, had he signed with Eddie or Frank.
Edwards won't be going to Mexico to fight him, that's for sure.
    Edwards will beat him

The fact the fight was out there and the way he reacted during and after the stoppage all looked a bit odd to me too.

But, appears to be a legit win. Be interesting to see the betting patterns on that fight

Goes out to fight away from home. Ok, nothing off there.

Goes out there 5 days before the fight, in a country like Mexico, and when it is at 2,635 metres at altitude. Really not ok.

Thats seriously bad management and preparation. Really just asking to take an L.

    Shocking preparation and management.
Him and lees loyalty to sanigar hasn't earned him a carrot. Real bad managing.

Completely thrown under the bus, if you ask me. It's such a shame as I believe he is far better than Charlie Edwards, whose story is a great one but I'm already sick of hearing about it, it's very quickly drifting towards X Factor sad pianos over a slow motion video clip cringe levels. We know you've made your mum proud, Charlie, that's painfully obvious now. Also I cant handle him constantly rounding off things with "I'm humble", drives me up the wall hearing people going on about themselves as humble. Meanwhile Eddie Hearn is loving this, a few more Moreno type fights until an easy pick becomes available at the weight above, loads of X Factor style video clips, an interview with Charlie showing us where he grew up, meeting up with old mates, f**king hell!
