30-26 Selby, dirty headbutt by Aguilar, hope the cut doesn't become an issue looks a big one. Close round could of gone either way but felt Selby nicked it.

Round 3 was a closer round, a scrappy one, Selby cut. Could see a 9-9 round there tbh

Meh, I'm looking in on this one between rounds of Román vs. Blanco, and I have no regrets about defecting, that's a much better fight. :deal:

I’m watching both simultaneously on different screens and I wouldn’t really agree lol commercial breaks are the only issue here

This polling system is so bias Selby could drop Martinez every round and they'd say he is losing. Tijuana, shame on you.

Selby bundled down in round 4, it's a push but he is getting roughed up, and now slips in Martinez's corner. He's having a real hard time, still winning, but is not comfortable

From what I've seen of rounds 3 & 4 (and having watched the first two in their entirety) there have been hardly any moments where Selby didn't thoroughly outbox Martínez - and then only because of a headbutt or rough clinch.

FOTY contender brewing on Televisa, meanwhile.

Yeah I’m also starting to defect unwittingly lol it’s becoming quite an eye catching fight

Well that was a disaster. God dammit poor Selby. To be bossing a fight and get caught like that. I always felt like that underlying threat lay there because Martinez did seem to have a significant power advantage when they exchanged. Beautiful body shot though

Down goes Selby! Body shot (a great hook to the liver)! He's counted out rising to his feet! The Mexican does it! Another big win for Martinez and Selby's career is now in tatters! He's a 30 year old Flyweight, who will need to rebuild, has no significant financial backing and isn't fun to watch!

He wasn’t terrible to watch in this fight but I mainly credit Martinez for forcing him to engage in more exchanges than he normally would

Such a shame, wasted talent. The most mismanaged fighter going, long layoff and going to Mexico should not be happening. Hope he can comeback from this but he is getting on for a flyweight. Sanigars have pissed him about and not given him the guidance his talent needed.
