Andrew Selby has been unable to box since having had his licence stripped at a British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) hearing early this year, following an altercation with a taxi driver. From what I understand, its now just a paperwork exercise and the BBBoC should renew his fighting licence if they have not already done so.
Just had a look into the taxi story not much out in the media really. Selby says it was a bit of an argument but went to court ?? But not much else! the way he dominated the WBC champ can't think of his name off the top of my head was impressive especially what the champ has gone on to do since .
He’s had some personal stuff to deal with, but he’s back training with his brother now which is good to see. Quality boxer, hope he fulfills his potential.
Very talented and much more exciting to watch than big sister Lee. If only he can add some power to those feather fists.
