Not so sure about Hunter. Speaking of the name Hunter, Mayweather said that Virgil Hunter is not a good trainer and he said that Kovalev beat SOB's arse!

Undecided... Hunters the only one to have stepped in with a top fighter, but it was a losing effort. That said Hunter's stock has risen a bit despite the loss, Tabiti has better backing and therefore might receive more opportunities.. But just for votings sake slight edge to Hunter based on his track record in the amateurs and early success against Usyk, not a whole lot between them though.

Hunter did pretty good against Usyk though, and would probably have been a major player if he had fought in one of the previous Cruiser generations instead of this one.

So I'd probably favor Hunter over Tabbi

I seen both spar and Hunter beats Tabiti in sparring. Hunter can box and is talanted but don't push himself as he should in training and can be lazy. Tabiti is limited but have speed and decent power. Hunter is the better boxer by far.

It's a few years ago but I think the same thing would happen today.

Tabiti looks more polished. He has more fights as a pro and is more active. And I think he will achieve more than Hunter.
