That's a good fight. Usyk should get him out but won't be very easy.

Wait? I thought the Carlos Takam fight was back on? While this is probably a step up, Carlos has taken some real beatings lately, and is probably there for the taking and Fedosov is fresher... but fans only care about name recognition. Which Fedosov does not have.

Dangerous guy I guess. Uysk will stop him late.

Fedosov is underrated. I am surprised that this is the first big opportunity that he gets.
    Usyk smash tho.

I’ve never seen fedosov fight, looks a bit inactive but has beaten joey daweko so that’s something

I didn’t really fancy seeing takam getting smashed again, he should fight duhaupas and the winner fights yoka? French heavyweight title at stake

Takam signed with a different promotor and will be heading into another direction.

Fedosov is another version of Gassiev. I don't see him causing any troubles to Usyk who has significant height & reach advantage here aswell. Takam is definitely the more dangerous HW right now as Fedosov is a blown up CW while Takam has legit size for a HW. I think it's more or less a cherry pick for Usyk as he knows he'll dominate that kind of opponents. Not even sure if Fedosov hits much harder than Bellew or Gassiev tbh. Good debut though. Could have picked some journeyman level record like Hrgovic is doing on Saturday vs. a fat glass jawed Mexican.

Hope this will finally go ahead as Usyk's HW debut is already long overdue.
Fedosov is pretty good and durable, but I think Usyk can stop him on accumulation late on.

Usyk has decided not to fight a Russian fighter ever again (well, at least in the near future). For political reasons. Or, let's say, reasons close to political (he doesn't like a public outcry it causes).
So, no Fedosov fight. No Povetkin, etc.

I dont know Usyk and his team has been playing at for the last 9 months

You become the number 1 CW in the world, beat Bellew in a huge event and then you sit on the bench not earning jack.

He needs to make his HW debut and fight more regularly. Then he needs to get into position for a title shot. He is 33 in a few months.

Usyk don't want to fight a Russian not to sir up and cause tensions no matter what money offered

Mean while a certain fighter wanted to pit rival nations against each other to who ever was willing to pay him the most

Different kinds of class I guess

Usyk seems to be heavy into religion shared with Russians and pan-slavic movement so he decided not to fight Russian fighters anymore and canceled the fight.
