I think Kotelnik could win this fight. I wouldn't at all be surprised if he 'wins' the fight but the decision goes to Ortiz.

Good test for Ortiz. Kotelnik is a good fighter who is kind of being used as a measuring-stick against fighters like Maidana, Khan and Alexander. I think Ortiz wins a comfortable decision but it's a dangerous fight.

I mean that he won't get a lot of credit for this win from most of the boxing public other than hardcore fans.

this is a 50-50 fight. either winner gets credit.

kotelnik puts himself in line for a shot at bradley by beating a top contender.

ortiz beats the man who gave maidana, witter and alexander all they could handle.

Kotelnik can't get dropped? Why is that?
Tua got dropped. Abraham got dropped. Anyone can go down given the right circumstance.

obviously he can get dropped. but the smart money says if the best of the 140's so far cant do it, then neither can ortiz.

He can, just like everybody else. He just has a very good chin and a very very effective defense with no real holes in it and very rarely gets hit flush.
