Andrzej Fonfara is a 6'2.5 28 year old Light Heavyweight with a 27-3 16 KO's record 1 KO loss. He has one KO on his record against Derrick Findley but the fact that he was 20 years old at the time should be taken into consideration. While I heard about Fonfara a couple of years ago the first time I really noticed him was when he easily beat Glen Johnson on FNF's while Johnson has a lot of losses he usually only loses to top tier guys, he's a good measuring stick and Fonfara did very well. Then he stopped Karpencey which may not have seemed like much at the time, but Tommy just beat Dawson, which raised his stock quite a bit, and he remains the only other person to stop the always game Gabriel Campillo other than Kovalev. I knew most people weren't giving him near the respect that he deserved going into the Stevenson, and I predicted a upset, while he didn't get the upset I wanted he came close, at least he earned everyone's respect by dropping Adonis, if only he could have finished him off.

He isn't the most talented or skilled fighter but his heart grit and determination usually pulls him through. Andrezj has proved that he's legit to everyone with his string of good performances so check out and appreciate the very underrated Polish Prince, and technically at 26 he's still a young up and coming prospect by Eastern European standards.:toney:toney:toney:toney

Interesting stuff CST80, he really impressed me against Adonis and I'll certainly be backing/watching Fonfara this weekend.

Fonfara made me a fan after his fight against Stevenson.
Maybe after this weekend's fight he can face the Kovalev vs B-Hop winner, if the pimp keeps ducking them.

Hey Dude! I got your pm & tried to respond to it, but the damn thing says I can't send pm's for some reason.:huh

Things are going OK & I was wondering about your son. Is he still kicking ass with the judo or whatever martial arts he was into?

How do you rate Skoglund? i don't think he will go very far, as long as he stays with Karsten Rowder. German school of boxing surely has messed up scandinavian.

Skoglund is okay but I prefer Ahlin, he's fairly solid but not spectacular, your right he needs a better trainer.

Fonfara may not have beaten Stevenson, but he exposed him. He showed that Stevenson is hittable with the left hook, and that he has a weak chin. Fonfara isn't what I would call a power puncher, but he managed to drop Stevenson.
