It looks like this fight will go the full distance. Hernandez has only been stopped once in forty professional fights.

And, just as I'm typing that, the action gets a bit more interesting. Tease.

    Round 8

Hernandez is pressuring now, grinning and throwing jabs at the body. Kameda is dancing wide around him, popping the high jab in multiples and brushing Hernandez's hair with it. Hernandez is swinging big left hooks jumping in. Kameda floats around the ring, kicking into a lateral trot, feet barely touching the canvas, snapping turns by the ropes. Very busy jab by Kameda. Hernandez laughs as he walks to him, goading him to fight.

    10-9 Kameda

    80-72 Kameda

Fonfara vs. Ngumbu is and has always been the main event (despite being a 10-rounder whereas this is a world title bout) - and has been listed that way consistently on Showtime's website and every bit of promotional material on the card.

  11. Kameda’s style tonight is pretty "Mexican," like Miguel Vazquez or Cristian Mijares.

...unless Tomoki is KTFO in the championship rounds.

Then it becomes DeMarco vs. Linares II, basically. (people forget that was a boring clinic dominated by Jorge through 8/9 rounds before cuts and Tony's heavy-handedness began to make a difference...and somehow in hindsight just because of the momentum turnaround and violent ending it became remembered as some FOTY candidate, when it was anything but...)

    It's the main event.

They know better than to have him on the undercard, the place would clear out once he finished.
