    Hernandez is keeping his feet close together, peeling his lead up heel to ball, thrusting it out a few inches and then making his adjustments to narrow up his stance again, pecking with jabs and occasional body shots as he applies slow pressure. Kameda is backing up and circling either way, mastering terrain, planting multiple jabs and single right hands down the pipe on the face of Hernandez, often coming in from the side.

    It’s a repetitive kind of fight, and I’m bored with it. But I feel like a hypocrite, they’re active, throwing punches, plenty of movement, winning or losing on points. Not a lot of clinching/holding. Just somehow flat, but they deserve more credit than they’re getting.

    This ref keeps getting in the action with his hands down. Earlier they were fighting off of him. No expression whatsoever. I’m guessing he has taken a punch or two in his day.

    Glove touch at the bell. Hernandez is swarming with left hooks and uppercuts, bowing in, back arched, head down. Kameda first steps into the middle of the ring to trade with him but is hurt and backed off. Hernandez is turned southpaw, walking Kameda down with the right jab, picking his way in close and leaning in to grind on Kameda with his elbows. Back to orthodox by Hernandez. Kameda backs up and ducks. Whipping left hook straightening up. Hernandez is sticking left jabs as he walks in, making Kameda hide behind the guard. Looping right on the body by Hernandez. Kameda swoops in to meet Hernandez on the march and holds. Hernandez shovels the left upper-hook in past Kameda's guard, scraping his chest. Double left hook by Kameda, fast but light, bouncing off Hernandez's ear and the back of his right glove. Hernandez lands a 1-2 between the gloves and slashes at the body with a low-reaching hook.
