Andrzej Fonfara vs Nathan Cleverly - Who wins?

I've never rated Cleverly. While he has talent he doesn't really fight tall, crouches too much and stays in front of his opponent too much, which is a shame because he's a decent athlete, he just isn't the smartest fighter. Knew soon as he made the Kovalev fight his reign was over.

Fonfara is a better boxer, moves better, a decent athlete as well and knows how to fight tall. He will outbox Cleverly then break him down and stops him late.

I wonder how people would vote if Fonfara had not faught Chavez jr.

 

easy, Fonfara is the better overall boxer, Clev, while athletic, doesn't use it to his advantage, neither does he have the power to keep Fonfara off him, his chin also isn't granite (as some claim)

 

I'd say Fonfara decision. But like I said earlier, I won't be surprised if Cleverly outpoints him.

 

Best best would be Fonfara by 9-3 or 8-4 kind of UD.

 

Old Clev beats him quite easily on points.

Weight jumping Clev might lose his speed when he comes back down to 175lbs so...

I'll go with Clev UD(That's if its the same Clev before the Kovalev fight)

 

Fonfara is a beast. I was impressed by him in both the Chavez and Stevenson fights. Has a good chin and can crack

Better overall boxer? Fonfara was getting outclassed by Karpency til he found a big shot and Cleverly schooled Karpency

So everybody is seriously going for Fonfara to KO Cleverly? I doubt he could stop even a shot to **** Cleverly, prime Cleverly beats him EASY

 

I agree with this. Clev is damaged goods at this point, but maybe before Kovalev and Bellew II he would have won this, losing the way he did to Kovalev and losing the rematch to his bitter rival Bellew probably haven't help his confidence.

 

He didn't even try in Bellew 2 and didn't even give a **** that he lost, Bellew was the bitter one in that whole thing
