They are but Cruz was licked out of the team for “lack of effort”.
He obviously wanted out.

Its weird. Even though they are allowed to go pro to my knowledge the government still have total control of their careers. So the athletes are still pretty much in the same predicament as before..

 

Whenever a hot new prospect from Cuba is on the come up, I know what division I'll be avoiding for the next 15 years, or until said Cuban is knocked out.
