    Gotta say, watching this without previously having checked boxrec and knowing the result, I didn't think Paul had much of a punch until the first time he deposits Ganigan on the canvas. :lol:

    I know Ganigan has a few fans on here and was known be an exciting, must see sort of fighter. Anyone remember this bout or the era in general?

    Jimmy Paul was a rising star and was very impressive disposing of Alvin Hayes , Harry Arroyo , Robin Blake. However his prime was cut short by being burnt out by trying to make weight too many times in a short period. Would have being interested had he campaigned at 140 lbs instead.

    Didn't Emanuel Steward have a very good fighter up at Jr. Welter too? This was when the Kronk Gym had top contenders in 4-5 Divisions at the same time.
