Pretty much. He was naturally a CW in boxing terms who bulked up to compete with HWs but was still under 100kg. Even then it was really hard for bigger guys to manhandle him. Le Banner tried it and got picked apart (although Hug lacked the power to seriously hurt him). So did Bernardo, although he had success a couple times against him; I think they ended up with a roughly 50-50 win-win ratio. About the only fighter I can remember who just walked through Hug was Peter Aerts, but then Aerts walked through pretty much everyone.
