Lee / Chavez will be good as long as JCC comes in lighter than a CW.

What's the venue? Some states have rehydration rules.

Lee needs to box and keep it in the center of the ring. Jr's physical size could prove to be the difference.

I think the WBC instituted a 10% rehydration clause that should be in effect by then. But still 16 pounds at 10AM the morning of the fight don't mean much. I don't remember the details but it seemed pretty toothless and was announced shortly after Jr's last fight.

Andy Lee is deceptively good. His style is a little boring, and he's not a massive KO artist, so it's easy to underestimate him, but his technique is REALLY good, and getting better with each bout.

He'll kill Jr, of course. (Though Texas may give a UD to the Mexican hype machine.)
Martinez would be a great fight. I'd have to put my money on Maravilla, due to his quickness & experience, but if Lee keeps improving like he has been, and Martinez is 2 fights away, I could see it being a very exciting & close fight.

I'm sorry, but I just do not seeing Lee standing up to the punishment he will eventually take facing Martinez.

As has been said, he could potentially outbox Chavez Jr. but if it turns into a slug fest, I don't give him much of a chance in that bout either.

Andy Lee has the ability to outbox Martinez using size and distance. Thing is, his defence gets way too sloppy when he gets tired and Martinez would step it up a gear and punish him in the latter half of the fight.

Lee will beat Chavez Jr. He's a far superior boxer. He'll probably be robbed by the judges but he'll be the real winner of the fight imo.
