Andy Lee - Darren Barker - make it happen!

I was winding up slap! shitty stoppage it was seeing as most american refs will let fighters die in the ring, i have no doubts vera would have stopped him if the fight was allowed to go on

 

I reckon slap's right about Lee taking the fight at short notice. He fought Thiam 3-4 weeks after Barker fought Belgecham so I'd say he could've definitely fought Barker.

 

doubt it highly barkers people wernt approached by lee's people.

 

I meant it as in I think he would have been able to take it if it was on the table.

Lets be real. Barker vs Lee is a big fight. Its sells 5000 tickets in Ireland or London and its a tough fight for both.

you cant blame Barker for taking his opportunity at the european title. you cant blame Lee for being annoyed it wasnt him.

Nobody has ducked anyone. They are both good fighters with allot to prove. hopefully one day the fight happens.

 

Like I said, I'm not accusing anybody of ducking, I dont know the circumstances surrounding this would-be fight. I'm just saying that if Lee was offered the fight he would have been prepared on time, IMO.
