Hopefully he does get the fights that he wants.

But if something isn't forthcoming soon he needs to consider a change of management or taking the short £££ or be willing to step in as a late replacement.

I'd like to see him base himself permanently in the US or Ireland rather than switching between the two.

 

Now is the time for Lee to fight duddy. He can be the first person to KO Duddy and they both get a big pay cheque. Then Lee moves on with more recognition

 

In that case stay in the States.

No point serving a ''pennance'' to be able to fight for the European.

 

I can guaratee that. Last year myself and the missus went to klitschko-chagaev ( thanks Haye you *****) , we went to the weigh in and Id a celtic jersey on. Andy went out of his way to chat to us for about 30 mins, got some hangers on from the kronk gym to get up so we could get a seat and got us into the after party after the fight. Top fella

 

Well he should make his mind up. His career is stop-start enough without switching between trying to break America and trying to get a shot at the Euro

 

Screw you Beeston , some of us want to keep going to Lee fights, I hope he keeps fighting in Ireland

Nah, either way he needs to decide, rather than having home comings and stay busy contests every time he crosses the Atlantic.

Good luck to him - at least he isn't blatantly playing the cash cow like Duddy.... and genuinely wants to have a really good boxing career.

Hardly riveting news to be honest. Andy Lee beats on a can that everybody decent beats. Let's see him against Brian Vera again...we'll see what he's learnt.

 

You gotta a point alright, but I'd be hoping though that he chooses to keep going with his career over here. We need a top fighter to headline bills in Ireland, and at the moment Lee is the biggest fighter we have, many of the other lads are just building themselves up.
