got my money on lee!!!good solid fundemnetal,steward come with great plan,chavez getting school and hammer,, left bomb all night

 

I think Lee will start out well, but can he keep it up? He has power, but will have to have lots of stamina and better defense. That fight is winnable, but will be very difficult.............we will see.............

 

Lee will get worn down and outhustled, he might make it to the final bell but his lazy ass workrate is gonna kill him vs a dude like Chavez who doesn't stop applying pressure and has a good chin and gruelling body attack. I see nothing in Lee's arsenal that causes problems for JR stylistically, this **** has JR victory written all over it, Arum wouldn't have allowed it if it didn't....if he was looking to cash out on JR it would be vs Martinez. Lee is gonna get outhustled.

I much prefer Lee to Chavez JR, however due to his weight advantage and the fact Arum approved the fight tends to mean he will win :/

 

Dont think the weight advantage will make much of a difference here.

Chevez will probably have a few pounds on Andy but I dont see how that will change things much. Its not like Chavez uses his size in that way.

And Andy is a big middleweight anyway.

 

Andy Lee has no inside game. He needs room to get off his punches. Chavez Jr. is bigger than him, and is a really good inside fighter. I don't see a schooling happening here.

Not if chavez comes again in the ring at 180 pounds.. he will go through Lee in the later rounds. Hopefully Manny steward will have a good plan for this.

 

Agree with this entire post, especially the first sentence. Chavez gets a bit underrated by a few people but it's even more preposterous to act like he necessarily has one of the best chins in the division giving the largely soft hitters he's faced (nearly as absurd as HBO acting like he's one of the most ferocious body punchers in all of boxing).

 

Lee will outclass Chavez and knock him out. Lee has the edge in power, skill, technique, and slick Irishness, Chavez is toast.

 

Maybe im biased but ever since the McEwan my opinion of Lee really dumped

Nah odds favor Chavez or Arum wouldn't want this fight to happen. He can bully Lee and outwork him as I've never seen Lee infight. Good win for Chavez assuming he does and Lee has to knock him out to win which I highly doubt he will. Will watch the fight.

 

Now Lee has more punching power than Rubio? Am I seeing that right?
