Zbik landed on Chavez at a %50+ rate, if he had any power Chavez would've been gone inside of 5 rounds.
Lee isn't Zbik, he will be dropping bombs on Chavez, he's gonna bust that boy up.

You're seriously underestimating how corrupt Texas is. Remember that the Cloud-Campillo robbery was in Texas a week or two before the Kirkland fight, they truely do not give a ****, if it goes to the cards Chavez wins. Going the distance is the most unlikely scenario though imo.

I wouldn't say Sturm is light hitting he has okay power. The Macklin fight he landed the hardest shots, harder than the clean power shots Macklin landed he's just usually rather sparing with them. That said this wasn't really an example of this and Sturm busted up Zbik largely with just the jab which is eye opening and speaks to Chavez's power being average at best, even more so if you factor in him being a ****ing CW.

 

Zbik landed 186 punches in the first 5 rounds. :yikes Alot of fights don't have that many landed over 12 rounds. I'm with you, Lee will land just as easy and Chavez will have a more difficult time hitting Andy than he did Zbik. If he takes that many punches from Lee he won't make it to the second half of the fight.

 

zbik has a higher workrate than lee but if that straight left finds a home then jr will be facing adversity for the first time in his career, something that lee has overcome in the ring and outside(presumably).

i dont think cloud/campillo was televised. everyone saw gale van hoyes card and the big stink about jr skipping out on his post test. i dont think texas judging can be biased to that extent again.
