its was still a guy coming off a loss as was Belgacham. The point stands.

Actually I've forgotten what the point of this thread was - oh yeah, muppets without any balance bashing Andy Lee - crack on!

 

i would say were bring balance due to the bias the irish fans bring.

watched allot of andy lee since it kicked off last time. He is actually a very good fighter, he could win a world title but he needs to start stepping it up, thats a fair assesment.

you can say the same about barker. and he is doing it. macklin is a posative move.

 

funny that isnt it, because I see a total lack of balance in your posts.

Lee is willing and ready to step up but what would be the point in doing that unless their is a title on the line or its an eliminator - this is simply a stay busy fight against a fighter that is actually better than you are making out.

Of course Barker is stepping up (finally) you can hardly keep a hold of the European title and hoping to fight the likes of Belgacham and Butler.

I will do you a favour, I'll bump this thread when Lee wins a world title or if he beats Macklin or Barker before then.

 

ye but we have heard for the past 2 years the talk from lee, his camo and fans that he wants to step up. I will beleive it when I see it and give him credit but at the moment its just talk.

plus he can step it up without title fights, fight guys ranked by the EBU and the WBA and he will get his shots, until then talking about world titles is just pipe dreams as your fighting nobodys.

he is not better than i am making out. he hasnt had a fight in 2 years and got knocked out in 1 round by this guy.

McKay wasn't coming off a loss when he fought either.

 

He wasnt coming off a loss wen he boxed lee but he was only after coming of two wins against two scrubs with horrific records when he boxed barker. My point is barker has always been a step behind lee until this up coming fight against macklin.

 

maybe that wouldnt be the case if the attitude of the brit forum and of a few posters in particular were not set to default bash irish fighters. there seems to be one rule for fighters you back rob and one for everyone else about the way people choose to advance their careers

the whole partisanship of eastsideboxing re the mayweather pac supporters, the haye-wlad angle and the blind nationalism that seems to rule over a substantial proportion of posters on the forum, its ruining the forum. no rationale debate and people taking default starting positions like party politicians, whats the point?

 

True. I've nothing against Barker but his fans seem to be dead against Lee. Both are young middles and we'll find out in the next year who's going furthest. My money's on Lee but I hope both do well.

This fight would of went under the radar like it should of been if it wasnt for the british starting threads on here and boxrec.
Its ridiculous andy lee gets so much attention for this **** fight. You wouldnt see the irish making a thread about it thats for sure.
