Not 100% about this, but I heard he's naturally right handed but boxes southpaw

Give me some props then!!! lol

it's just that I'm a right handed southpaw......

.... and watching the way he threw the lead hook it just reminded me of the way I would throw it!!!

(I'm **** by the way so don't jump on me at comparing myself to lee).

Didn't realise you boxed, fair play. You could do worse than to model your style on Lee being a right handed southpaw and all

    Like I said I'm shite.

Everyone kind of gets really defensive about Lee and assumes that we are all attacking him but it's not true at all. What I have seen of him I like, he's definately exciting to watch. Unfortunately he has henry cooper's skin but with a good cuts man should be alright (I'll give them Jumbo's phone number! lol). It's funny untill I watched that clip I had never really studied his technique.

The reason I think Barker will go further is not down to Lee. It's that I see something special in Barker. I get the same feeling watching him as when I saw Haye and Froch as Ams. We've all got opinions, it just seems to get so heated on here.

Yeah I know what you mean, it's all good though, better to have heated discussions than for noone to give a **** about them isn't it. If they both managed to pick up world titles (stranger things have happened) it would be a mega fight down the line. Look at how much interest there is in a possible fight between them even now! If you recall we have an avatar bet if they ever do fight :D

I didn't recall but I'm sure the evidence is on here somewhere.

I'm desperate to go see a fight in Ireland. And that one would be awesome!!!

not really true it would be a typical andy lee move to fight the loser over 10 rounds.

you mean like the way Darren Barker did when he won the European title against Belgacham and you mean like the way Darren Barker did when he won the British title against Bulter - both men coming off losses!

You really are intent on making a tit of your aren't you.

If Lee had been offered simular opportunities would he have taken them?

What would be the difference between Lee fighting Vera who lost three in a row since his Lee win because its a significant fight for him. Barker didn't pick the opponent the EBU and his promoter did. Barker has also said he doesnt see himself as the true European and British number 1 until he beats Macklin.

Whats a better fight. Barker against a guy who took Andy Lee 10 competative rounds, or Andy Lee agaisnt a guy who got knocked out in the 1st round by someone in there 1st fight?

If i remember rightly his brother had a broken hand and was still training in the south paw stance

Andy just joined the gym and wanted to be like his big bro so he started off south paw and he's been one ever since! :deal

Butler was a very late (as in the night before) replacement for Elcock.

    So give it a rest.
