    ...well, he would hardly say The Legendary Emanuel Steward© had not prepared him properly for the fight, and had not done his job well in the corner...;)

    Lee wouldn't, but I will. :lol:How the hell can someone at Lee's level not know how to clinch properly?

    It's hard for me not to go back and remember I thought I saw shades of Taylor starting around the 3rd or 4th round. I googled a link for some one the other day that had asked how Lee fared against Taylor in sparring. That account indicated they were fairly evenly matched. Compare Taylor post Steward.

    Taylor had enough experience to realize he wasn't a good match with Manny. IF the same is true for Lee, he may lack the experience to recognize that. Fighters have to be able to adapt, but don't trainers also?
