It's great that Andy is involved in such a set up. Hopefully the experience and exposure will stand him in good stead in the coming years.

Urbanski is not his best opponent to date, Willie Gibbs was, Gibbs had the potential to knock Lee out.
Urbanski is just highly ranked with the WBC thanks to the WBC baltic title he won, so a win will improve lees ranking which is 14th as we speak.

I think Urbanski is more 'live' than Gibbs to be honest.

I remember the Gibbs fight well - he was throwing that overhand right a lot and if he had caught Lee he would have rocked him to his boots. That was the best Andy Lee performance I have seen. I remember Dunne saying before the fight that it was a ballsy move to put Lee in with Gibbs straight after his loss to Vera - and it was - but he did the business in style.

I have never heard of Urbanski but his record looks weak - 5 losses and 3 draws and low KO percentage - doesnt seem to be that dangerous on paper, at least.

Wlad can box and move as well

So it's not just practising running circles around some lump

If he can avoid getting hit by Wlad's jab Urbanski's shouldn't be a problem

Lets get real here Vlad is not going full out on Lee. But Lee gets great sparring in Steards stall no doubt. As does Tyson Fury his cousin.

Urbanski is a good opponent for Lee's usual standards.

true. He is good but not as good as tough as Gibbs who I agree was possibly Lee's most dangerous opponent post Vera. Lee might stop Urbanksi in round 7/8 but I see it as a UD.

I think it will be a really good result if he stops him. That would certainly make a statement to all the cycnical doubters.

See the picture of Wlad, Steward, Fury and Lee on the home page. Anyone else find it amusing that Fury is up on his tippy toes trying to look much bigger than Wlad and Wlad is all relaxed striking a pose.

How am I trolling because I don't think stopping this guy who he should not even be fighting is anything amazing? The only decent fighters he fought stopped him, so Lee should be expected to stop him also.
