Kevin Iole has tweeted that HBO got it wrong. He gave a sample before the fight.

That's how I see it, but if Chavez Jr is ever going to be ready for Sergio, it's now.

Maravilla is not the unbeatable fighter that people think he is, but he'd be a bit too well schooled for Chavez.

Andy Lees boxing was beautiful for 2 rounds. As I suspect Chavez could not box with him so he rightfully decided to engage. Upon engaging he was still losing technically but intangiables came into play as he slowed Lee and made Lee come away from his gameplan. Chavez is crazy durable by the looks of it. I wouldn't have guessed he could walk through all those clean power punches. When Lee could no longer keep him honest, he could no longer keep him off and the distance didn't favour him at all.

Chavez isn't technically brilliant but his body punching and tenacity and durability make him a force.

PS - Based on how he fought, tt does look like Chavez is on diuretics and PEDs. :)

I think we overrated Lee somewhat. He was standing and trading with Chavez as early as the third round. Just didn't have the ability to keep moving and sticking out his jab. He also tired badly. Stewart kept telling him to box but Lee couldn't. His footwork is poor.

Andy Lee is overrated, yes, but i still think hes fringe world level. He's have done better against Sturm.

Yes, in sports they are because Chavez kills himself to make weight then adds 20 odd pounds so he is much bigger than his opponent. Some diuretics can also be used as a masking agent which is why its on WADAs banned PED list.

Turns out I'm quite smart in comparison to you. Run along.

Has Chavez not heard of a punch called the jab? Can't remember him landing a single 1 in 7 rounds. Must be some sort of record.

I refuse to believe Chavez has got smaller since his NC to Rowland where he was exposed for using diuretics.

His drink driving shows he isn't living the life like Hopkins or Froch and is staying on weight that way.

He admitted that he weighs a good 180.

Remember post Rubio fight where there was weigh making/PED issues. Wiki says "According to the commission, they made the mistake of not booking a testing laboratory for the event in advance." What a shock.
