Will Vera prove to be Lee's kryptonite or will Lee show that the first fight was simply and anomaly?

I see Lee taking a points decision losing a few rounds around the mid way point. I can see him knocking Vera down at some point but not taking him out.

Won't be an easy night for Lee, that's for sure. Should be a lot better than the other Co-main event, Barker v Martinez. Which will be a one sided beat down imo.

I expect Lee to do better this time out.
But I don't favour him against any of the top10 guys at MW.

    Lee by late TKO

I think Vera might take this. He impressed me in the Mora fight and Lee seems to be stuck and never really progressed. He is way too hittable and his chin is not that great.

He's never been on the canvas in his life. His chin is just fine.

That's not the case at all. He is at risk of being stopped on his feet when he is tired. He tends to panic and not tie up. He legs never go shaky after taking big shots. His chin isn't an issue. Stamina, defence and lack of ability to tie up are the things that will land him in trouble.

ImElvis, he needs a win - no matter how - or some massive nights could go begging. But at least he should fight Macklin no matter with both under DiBella. Still confident of Lee picking up one of the straps on the right night.

    Just checked the WBO rankings.

    Champ: Pirog
    1. Gennady Martirosyan
    2. Andy Lee
    10. Brian Vera

With GM just after losing to Pirog, a win for Lee should put him into mandatory position.

Vera might KO him. I think Lee can slither out a UD too. Really hoping Vera pulls it off. ( Live in the US ) although I am a Lee fan too.
