Lee is good, but not that good and people forgetting Duddy has an iron chin. If Lee wins it will be by decision, but Duddy is gonna give him hell. I wouldn't be surprised if Duddy gets robbed.

Boo,were u impressed by johnny boys showing against vanda?I do get frustrated coz he showed some decent skills in that fight, and since stunk the place out with terrible showings against Lyell and junior.for me it has 2 be Lee,he has not been in as many wars and carrys the better power in this 1.

Well, a group of us sat there watching the Duddy/Vanda fight, and we applied terms like "nice jab," and "good defense," and "way to be patient" to John freaking Duddy. I thought he showed nice form and good skills, but since then he's been a let down.

Wasn't that on the same night as pavlik/Rubio?as I said before that was the only fight post Yori boy campas where John looked like he was ready to step it up a level and maybe take on a fringe world contender.but we all know how Billy Lyell tore up that script.any word on if Kelly will make a comeback?I'm a big fan and would be delighted to see him get back to where he was.we need exciting fighters like him,I don't think he realises his worth in this game.

Lee will be the biggest and most talented puncher duddy has fought and with duddy having such a bad defense i think its going to be a cruel night for john and he will probably get stopped on his feet although he could win if he gets inside and cuts andy up , going to very intresting if john can find some old form , cant wait for it

who would you rather face Duddy or Lee????

  7. Lee will win a decision. Duddy won't get stopped cause he's a tough son of a ***** who can take loads of punishment... but he'll get outclassed.

    Lee vs. Chavez Jr. anyone?

Nope. Chavez Jr is gunning for the WBC belt, should be fighting Zbik for it in May - assuming Martinez will have vacated the belt by then (he'll be Champion Emeritus regardless). If Chavez Jr wins it, it's highly likely that Lemieux will be next in line to get a shot... Lee would probably have to face the winner of Macklin-Barker to get to Chavez Jr.

Chavez Jr will duck Lemieux. If he's gonna be fed to anyone, he'll be fed to Canelo as that would make the most money, or else Pavlik as he is a Top Rank fighter and Uncle Bob doesn't lose out.

In a recent interview Steward said that they would be looking at Macklin should they not be able to get Martinez after Duddy so I'd say you could be on to something there.

I reckon this fight will sell more tickets than the main event. Paddy's week, all the Irish-Americans will lap it up.

Foxwoods Casino holds 4,000 - you would have hoped for a bigger venue closer to home.

I agree with Elvis, Lee gets there in the end but both are bloodied by then and it all gets a little hairy.
