Just straight channel 5 on terrestrial tv Healy. Although I dont know if you ROI lads get channel 5 over the sea.
****, i dont hav e it. Have 104 and 106, but nothing in between. Must be the Irish version or something
What did you think off Lee, Dunky? He seems to have a decent chin but he keeps his hands way too low IMHO.
thanks m8 that stop was prematurebut lee needs to learn how to tie up.but he should have finished vera off in the first round prior is knockout waiing to happen he doesnt know how to throw combos and has non exsistent footwork
i find it funny tht everytime they say emanual steward they have to say legendry.also did u see the way the commentry team were gushing over lee
My goodness, where do I start? Firstly, one of the worst stoppages I have ever seen, if Lee was a scot & got stopped in that fashion, its safe to say I would have been kicking my tv set over in a drunken rage Lee has always reminded me of Froch, both have talent but dont have the natural speed of a David Haye to get away with fighting like that. It was a great fight though, & it kinda reminded me of Arthur v Gomez, Lee should have just stayed on the outside & used his southpaw stance to infuriate his opponent but he got dragged into his opponents fight & paid the price. To be honest I dont think its the end for Lee, could be a good learning fight for him. He got sucked into a brawl with a limited but tough fighter & paid the ultimte price. Much like a young Arthur against Gomez. The future is bright for Lee if he learns from his mistakes. & he made many during that fight, but thats what happens with young inexperienced fighters, especially from these shores. The reason I say that is cos american journeymen are a much tougher test than the punchbags that our prospects here fight against. Look at John Murray, when he fought overseas against one of their journeyman recently he almost came unstuck. Its not he end for Andy Lee, providing he stays in America & learns from this fight.
I hear you mate, you can't just flail away on the inside with your chin in the air against a smaller opponent, he was just playing into Veras hands. It was a premature stoppage but I think Lee was going to get stopped either that round or the next. He still has that amateur 'bounce' in his footwork was well. He's got plenty to work on but at least he showed a good heart and good chin, two things you can't teach.
