I've seen a number of Vera's fights, and at times it's almost like watching two different guys. One version is a pretty good boxer with power you had better show respect for. The other version is a crude slugger who spends most of his time flailing away at the spot where his opponent used to be.

If the boxer shows up, Andy gets stopped again. If the slugger shows up, Andy wins a wide UD.

I think this one will once again go to the trenches. Both men will talk about out-boxing each other and may even try at first, but this one is getting bloody by the middle rounds.

I think this will be very close. It'd be a make or break fight for Lee but I think he should take it before he goes for a world title. Whilst it's more high risk and less potential reward than stepping up for a title shot - I think Lee needs to take the fight to excorcise his own demons.

I'm tentatively going with Vera to do beat him again.

The first fight was a crappy stoppage. Lee has improved and will decimate Vera this time around.

Bull**** Irish cards...? Have you even followed his career..? He's only fought in Ireland 7 times out of a 27 fight career

I think Lee has improved enough to be the favorite to avenge the loss, but still has enough nasty habits to make it less than a sure thing.

Lee takes it to establish himself as a legitimate middleweight.

It's a good win, and helps his case as a legitimate contender and cleans the slate of his one career loss to date...but it's still only Vera. :yep

As much as Vera is better than some give him credit for and capable of springing an upset here and there, counting coup on him isn't exactly a hyper-boost acceleration up the rankings.

Figured I'd bump this since it's relevant again.

Nothing would make me happier than for an Irish fighter to be important again, but I have a hard time seeing Lee as important. He has not really impressed me recently and I dont see anything even close to what Manny Stewart saw a few years ago when he was saying that Lee was the future of the division.... literaly nothing even close.

Still if he boxes well he should win a UD.... I Hope.
