:huh Lee has a solid chin, he can be bullied but Macklin doesn't have a size advantage over him, is not a big puncher and there is no real difference in skill level to be fair. Lee would have beaten Sturm aswell imo.

    Sturm would embarrass Andy Lee.

Its a good fight and one I think could be easily made since both are with DiBella in some way, I think.

I think Macklin would beat Lee but its a solid fight. I'd prefer to see Macklin take on Chavez or Golovkin but Lee would make for a nice fight.

Based on Lee having horrendous defense and bambi legs, along with the whole Sturm being a far better boxer thing...

Wow bambi legs and a horrendous defense eh? Lee must have a granite chin so given that he has never even touched down as an amateur or pro. Both his loses came against guys who outweighed him and he finished both on his feet while ahead on the cards so he can't be too bad now can he.

I saw your thread complaining about HBO commentators "name dropping" him during the Chavez jr Martinez fight so it's obvious you have a weird disliking of the guy, but whatever.

Macklin, Lee and Barker are all more or less on the same level, imo they would all beat Sturm who was an average title holder, but I'll humour you anyway, so tell me in your mind how does this embarrassment go down? Does the mighty Sturm brutally ko Lee in the first round or totally outclass him for 12 rounds? :huh:lol:

Macklin would prove to be too aggressive , too active and too strong for the classy but pretty vulnerable Lee.

Macklin would pummel Lee inside and out and I'm a Lee fan. If Lee had Macks grit itd be different. I'd pick Macklin over Geale too, but yea Macklin-Chavez Jr would be 50-50.

Lee needs better footwork and stronger legs to move faster around the ring for 12 rounds. Needs to avoid ropes at all times and as much as possible. He can stil improve. Macklin got destroyed by Sergio, but he comes in with a big ol smile like nothing happened that to me is a badass. Macklin can upset anyone not Sergio or GGG. I think Macklin will be champ soon.

I don't really rate Andy Lee to be honest, he can put his punches together well but he's as stiff as a board and does seem to be pretty fragile, although I wouldn't say he was glass chinned. I think Macklin walks him down and stops him late on. Macklin has really improved in the past couple of years, I thought he beat Sturm comfortably (and I picked Sturm to win) and he gave the sexy one a tough night before being outclassed late on.

sturm would embarass lee, dude it's obvious you're irish so just stop.

when your best win is Brian Vera after already getting stopped and beat up by him you are not in the same league as sturm.

much rather see macklin vs barker or murray or jcc jr who are all more or less on his level.

Di Bella is chasing Geale V Macklin for early next year as possible undercard to Martinez V Chavez 2. If it doesn't happen and Lee wins in the comeback - expect this fight to happen.
