What has my nationality got to do with it "dude"? I'm a fan of both Lee and Macklin.

Barker and Murray are on Macklin's level but Lee is not? :think You must be a Brit if that's your opinion, either that or you're a ******, perhaps both.

What exactly have they done to rate so much higher in your opinion? They are all more or less on the same level, it wasn't so long ago that Macklin and Barker were looking like **** against mediocre opposition in Jomardasvilli and Belgacham respectively. So in fact these Brit/Irish middleweights can be hit or miss, all have the potential to beat a Sturm or Geale level guy and would all be in competitive fights with each other.

canadian, no allegience to any of these guys just calling it as i see it. nothing Lee has done convinces me he has even a remote shot vs Sturm and you're in the vast minority in thinking he does. those 3 have all done well vs top MW's, Lee has not, in fact he got beat up by a C level fighter in Vera and got his ass whupped by Chavez Jr who is no better than Macklin....going on their performances vs Martinez, Macklin is much better than Chavez actually and his deserved W vs Sturm just reaffirms it.

Sturm has looked absolute dog **** recently.

Lee has lost, yes, but I still think he can be competitive against the likes of Sturm, Macklin, Geale, Barker, Murray.

lol @ calling Sturm "average" and at the same time praising Andy Lee. :patsch

Sturm has a better jab, better fundamentals, better defense. These are facts. Sturm wouldn't get knocked around the ring like a baby deer on I've against Craig McEwan, nor would he get stopped by Brian Vera.

I have no problem with Lee. What I have a problem with is people who say he'd beat some of the best in the division, when's he's looked like nothing but average against average competition.

not bad for a guy who once got outboxed by Andrew "Beanpole" Facey.

as he said, Murray, Barker and Macklin have all looked like dog **** in fights against mediocre competition, especially Barker, how much of their full careers have you seen?

I'll be honest I've seen about 3-4 Barker fights and only 2 from Murray but the fact they they held their own vs world class opposition tells me all I need to know.... they hung with world class fighters, Lee did not, he got beat up and stopped by the one world class fighter he faced and got beat up and stopped by a C level journeyman, also had to pull out a miracle vs another C level fighter in Mcewan where he was on his way to a lopsided UD. You go by what they've done not who their trainer is or how great they look in the gym, the early rounds or the ams.

I understand you trying to defend Lee though after making the horrible prediction about him beating Chavez Jr. You're obviously a big Lee fan.

With Lee it's hard to guage but I've always said there is very little between himself/Barker/Macklin and I am yet to be convinved otherwise.
I think Chavez would have beaten BArker or Macklin similarly on that night in a 16x16 ring.

This C level figher talk is nonsence.
It's typical sterotyping but is ultimately thrash talk.
