How was the event, man?? :bbb

(besides the wild lady brawl :yep)

I'm guessing the Tony "Hearns Mark.II" Harrison and Andy Lee kayos were the highlights? Or was there something better?

...oh, and you need to watch Salido vs. Lopez II ASAP. Fire up the DVR if you recorded it, otherwise stay tuned for the replay.

Tolle Jr. was the KO of the night. The Mexican fighters were fight of the night. Harrison was solid. Blue White got tested but he came on with every round and I had him winning 40-35 though the cards were closer. 1 fight ended quick with a technical draw due to accidental butt. Andy Lee clobbered Duran quick and very easily.

Ring girls were below average. My seats were excellent. I sat right next to the mixing boards that broadcast the stream. Only serious guy I talked to was Anthony Dirrell but he blew me off wuick for a pack of hot chicks. The place was packed.

It was my 2 cousins i brought 1st boxing event ever. They both now want to go see K-9 vs Spinks at Joe Louis. So the card won them over.

I bought us all 3 preferred tickets for 35 apiece. They were awesome seats. About 8 actual rowas back.

I only had 1 opportunity to grab Manny as he came by for a picture and then these 2 old school dudes in pimp hats cut me off and hounded him the entire way to the back. Then he went back to the ring the other way. I could have stayed and got some interviews and stuff but 1 of my cousins wanted to leave. I met Tolle Jr. and the Mexican kid fromMichigan who won. d

Probably the worst thing was this drunk broad behind me getting me to snap pictures of here during the Lee fight. I missed half the damn action dealing with her.

Overall, dollar for dollar, you cannot beat it in all of Detroit for any sport. Even though it was not a highly competitive card. The fans loved every time the home town guy won. I wanted a bit more action though.

Hearns and Jimmy Paul were there too but I never got close. My cousin said Andre Dirrell was there too. I ran into Anthony on my way out at intermission and then saw him at ringside later. I never saw Andre. K-9 hit the ring and did some barking and said he will be fighting Corey Spinks at Joe Louis Arena either in April or May.

My 1 other complaint. They kept a bunch of people from filming. I had my camcorder and the dude tried to tell me I could not use it. I then showed him i was only taking pictures. But I wanted to film Harrison and Lee. They shut a bunch of people down with our obvious cams. But rows away from me people had their phones out which you know damn well have camcorders too. Even mine does though I didn't have it. That was some BS targeting us with cams. My seats were right next to the stream guys and 1 of the dudes kept spying on me to make sure I wasn't filming.
