Andy Lee needs two more fights against real names. Carl Daniels was a good start, but then Emmanuel backpedeled him into tomato cans.

    Possibles?
    Gary Lockett
    Koji Sato
    Sebastian Sylvester
    Howard Eastman
Winky Wright (which would never happen as greedy as he's become)
or, why the hell not, JOHN DUDDY!!!

    Zuniga
    zertuche
    Soliman
    Eastman

Let him fight 3 out of these 4, then put him against Abraham or Sturm. If he keeps his "0" he's ready for Pavlik. Realistically I don't think Pavlik and Lee will meet at 160. Lee needs a good 18 months before he would be ready. By that time Pavlik will have cleaned out 160, and moved up.

    Kingsley Ikeke
    Jose Luis Zertuche
    Fulgencio Zuniga
    Ray Joval
    Alejandro Berrio

If you're training for Pavlik, that's about as good of a lineup I can think of. Some tall fighters, some decent boxers, some big punchers.

That said, I'm not sure he's ready for someone of Zertuche's or Zuniga's caliber yet. He's probably KO Berrio right now, but at least Berrio would seriously test his chin first. Ikeke should be easy pickings, but at least he's very rangy. Joval would by far be his biggest test as far as pure boxing is concerned, and he might even be a better boxer tha Pavlik.

Edit: Even though he's a lesser fighter, I might go with Yory Boy Campas over Berrio. Berrio is similar to Zertuche but with a lesser chin anyway, and Campas might help teach him how to deal with a pressure fighter, even if Yory Boy is shot.

I would match Andy Lee with......

    # 1 Marco Antonio Rubio
6'1 Tall boxer puncher who could test Lee chin
    # 2 David Lopez
6'2 Spoiler who could give Lee a rough time
    # 3 Sergio Mora
6' Awkward spoiler a real test for Lee
    # 4 Elvin Ayalal
6' cute boxer type lets see if Lee could KO him
    # 5 Khoren Gevor
5'8 tough durable pressure that might give Lee a hard time
    :deal

According to Steward, he's already in talks to have Lee fighting the Pavlik-Duddy winner, which i would hate to see, not so much because it would be too early for Lee, but because i wanna see Pavlik-Abraham. And the fact that that would keep Lee out of the title picture til' 2009 would probably be just as well too, for everybody involved.

Lee is just not ready for any one near world level yet, not even gate keepers. I would keep him away from Euro level guys as well for the time being. Manny is just blowing hot air.

I'd like to see Lee against Bronco Mc Kart - a crafty veteran who gave Pavlik a hard time early in their fight

I was thinking of that too, but after Bronco lost to Ornelas I think he's hanging up the gloves.

Lee only fought journeman and C level fighters so far, how is he supposed to be fighting for a belt already? It shouldn't be that easy.

I'd like to see him facing Mora, that's a matchup that makes sense to both fighters.
