Lots of world champions get defeated early in their career for you to write them off because of one loss is foolish.......

He did not get knocked out, it was stopped, there's a difference. The loss happened because Andy's focus was lacking, he's better and smarter now. Mark my words......I'm open to Andy Lee bets when the time comes:hey

I think Andy will get himself a belt at world level within the next two years.

Most people who have not been following his career have written him off because they have seen on Boxrec that he lost against Vera. These same people will be back on the bandwagon when Lee beats his next highly rated opponent.

I still think someone like Golovkin would beat him, but he is one of the very few I'd favour against Lee.

Imo, he beats Barker, Zbik, Sylvester, Sturm, Oral, Jacobs, Duddy.

N'Jikam, Martinez, Gevor are 50/50 fights.

I saw him in Germany on the Klitschko-Cagaev undercard. NOT impressed.

Lee already beat Barker in the amateurs. Lee is bigger, faster and stronger with a better chin. They are similar boxers but Lee has all the slight advantages.

I followed Andys career from the amateurs and he is a very technically sound fighter.
The only thing I would be concerned about is he seems to get a little too flustered
when he comes under a lot of pressure.

This is true. If he meets a brute who can keep up the pressure and pace there could be trouble.

Still, it's up to him to deal with that and up to us to watch how he goes.

Nope! Didn't see the Vera loss on Box Rec. Saw it as it unfolded. Watched Vera walking foward hitting him with right hands at will. At the end of the day that loss probably saved his career. Had he won he had a deal with Top Rank, and would have found Kelly Pavlik across the ring inside 6 months. At that point in Andy's career Kelly would have ruined him.

I have been following his career.. But i do also follow the career of other top prospects..

And imo Golovkin, Jacobs, N´jikam and Piroq are better prospects..

Don´t think much of Barker and Guerrero and especially not Duddy ( all though he is fun to watch.. and isn´t he campaigning at 154?)

Zbik either, i think he is brought up smoothly against people with padded records.. And the fights i saw were all pretty close.. I think Gevor will beat him

And what happened to Korobov??? The guy is brought so slow it´s ridiculous.

MAYBE he would beat Jabobs ( who was hit a lot and stunned by Ishe Smith) but Guerrero IMO is rougher than Vera, is a harder puncher, a southpaw and a lot more skilled. He would close the gap and expose Lee's inside game which is non existent.
