Looked good for the first few rounds, but a closer to peak Lee got stopped after the half way point by Julio Junior.

That is all we need to know, really. And that isn't even including everything we learned from the Vera fight(s) about his limitations.

    Hahaha

Honestly when Sillakh was everyone's Prospect of the Year for 2011, the sentiment that Sillakh was unbeatable was somehow shared by a boat load of people on this forum...

This is honestly a poor fight, and I was once a big Lee fan. Andy looked disappointing with Fitzgerald and has been matched with very low level fighters there after. He has a name, been on HBO 3x, and brings in a decent crowd for the NY area, but I can't see this fight going more than 3-4 rounds. He's going to try and fight from the outside where Golovkin will tear him up. Second he gets hurt he'll go into this brawler mode and be put right out.

N'Dam, Korobov, Soliman, and Mora would have better styles to hang with Golovkin. Granted this is likely a build-up fight for a likely Chavez ppv in July, which makes Andy more ideal to the promoters because he offers a name and common opponent, as well as limited danger.

Lee fights pretty good long range, but needs to learn to clinch because he loves to infight and go toe to toe, which he sucks at. He has good power and would be good if he let his left fly more often, esp to the body. Brave fella!

I've probably missed the joke here but why would GGG become the spokesman for Subway?

I don't know if these people saying Andy Lee is in the Subway commercials are joking or not, but that's Mike Lee in the commercial.

I saw a site yesterday that has GGG -8000 and Lee a +1600. LOL, Great odds for people who think Lee has a chance. I'm not one.
