How on earth did he win last night? He is probably the most brainless and clumsy people i've ever seen in the ring! I mean come ****in on the guy was being spanked for the whole fight and he lands one big shot! Makes me sick to my stomach! What are your thoughts on his next opponent and how do you think he will perform??
He has a big heart and took full of McEwan being gassed in the last round, but to honest Lee is a limited fighter. His arsenal doesn't have much too it. One jab at a time and the occasional straight left, that it, and he has the chicken wing going with his right arm and little head movement. He has pretty decent power, but I just dont think hes that good.
I've seen him before and he just looked silly last night. He wasn't throwing at all. He would get in close and just sit there waiting while McEwan would be throwing four punch combinations. I don't know what was up, but he needs to start throwing more punches.
I agree. If he actually going to be allowed to fight Martinez, he should be FORCED to prove he deserves it by avenging his only loss, if he can. Either Lee is ******ed in the ring without Steward pulling the strings, or he really isn't all Manny says he is.
Not impressed at all. Very stiff and poor defense. Too right hook happy and not enough straight lefts. He has a LONG way to go.........
You clearly no **** all about boxing if you think he was being ''spanked'' for the whole fight. He is better than what he showed last night but his defense does need alot of work. As soon as he started throwing the left he ****ed up McEwan so **** off with your bull**** that he landed one big shot. He dropped him in the 9th and then finished him off in the 10th.
He's a decent fighter that defense isn't ever going to be improved if it hasn't already he didn't learn anything from the Vera fight. He was getting caught because he stands straight up with his chin sticking out in the air and drops his guard when he throw punches as well as when he backs up in a straight line. I forgot which round, but I thought I was about to see Vera part 2 in there
needs to improve his defence drastically, need more head movement, needs to move in and out of range quicker, needs to throw more combinations, needs to double up on the jab, needs to throw that left hand more often, needs to stop throwing that right hook so often...I hate to say it, but he should move on from Steward. Its clear that he is not improving under him anymore, he's just trying to turn him into a middleweight version of Wlad. Positives. He has a ton of heart and guts, decent chin, improved stamina and can obviously bang.....And when he starts throwing the one two's he can be quite good.... If he fought like that against Martinez, he wouldnt last 4 rounds.. Martinez is too quick, too powerful and too accurate.
How did he win? See below! "Spanked for the whole fight" - rounds 2 through to 6 he was, maybe you switched off for the rest of the fight and caught a nap when he floored him in the 9th as well! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L16d1wjWmD4[/ame]
