Its funny looking back it this thread now knowing what we do about how sick Parker was going into this fight. And that they did have a game plan but it all went out the window when Parker was gassing after the 1st round. And Parker just tried to bang him out of there ASAP was the new "gameplan" Andy Lee has said that is the biggest regret of his coaching career, letting Parker continue with that fight even though he was sick. He said Parker wanted to do it even though Andy Lee had misgivings he overall let it go ahead. He said once they were in the fight, Parker was like "man I am wrecked and not up to this" and Andy Lee was just like "Welp, we are in the middle of a fight, not much we can do"
Yeah I was stunned with their approach to this fight. Don't know much about the sickness, but if true that makes him going 11 rounds even more impressive. Oddly enough I think that version of Joyce would always give Parker problems. Just the wrong style.

There was nothing to honour. Parker either didn’t fight at all or rescheduled. Can’t have his cake and eat it the greedy sneaky Kiwi. He chose to get Bakole to travel half way across the globe. Parker is in the same boat as Berlanga for me just waiting to be exposed.
