He still has skills but he fell short last night against a good operator. He's a warrior and lets face it some people felt he beat Sykes but that's two hard fights now he may now start to decline. I think a rest is suffice and get back in gym and maybe have one bout and see if he can have a crack at another domestic title. I worry that he will just stay in the sport because it's routine, all he knows and pays the bills...hope not.
He actually looked very good for the most part. He just got woRn down and caught to the body. Hes a slick boxer and he should carry on and give it another shot at the british title IMO
He struggles to punch straight due to the way he's built - very broad shouldered so he naturally throws wide when rushed. Not sure much can be done about it to be honest.
He's one of my favorite boxers to watch because he's so well schools, loads of head movement, good footwork, good jab and nice fast snappy combinations. I expected big things from him before he lost to Simpson and I still think he could win a British title again and I'd love to see him to do so, he deserves it.
i agree' he allways looked a class operator' remember his fight with randall munroe' class act' he should have a rest' have a think' but i for one will allways enjoy watching him. :happy
I'd imagine that he'll probably get another crack at the British title, certainly still got the skills. I also thought he beat Sykes for what its worth.
