Maybe there is a thread on this but I dont see it and it was probably **** anyhow.

So, who have you got for this one and how will they win it.

I think Murray takes this on points. Murray is a stylish boxer and is very tough, he also is a strong body puncher and I think a polished boxing performance and a strategy to work Rees to the body will seal a UD points win. I think this is a great fight on paper and yet another very entertaining domestic dust up.:good

Rees by clear ud, Murray has a leaky defence, he gets hit with the right hand often.

think this will play out a bit like rees watson but with murray having the better experince and better technique than watson
im goin t go for a murray split decision as i think rees will have his moment but might fade down the stretch with murray taking over with his jab

Rees takes it on points, I've been hearing rumours of Rees's lack of commitment to training, I hope he can keep focused and get the job done.

This is a 50/50 fight in my opinion. I don't want to predict the winner as it's to difficult to say. I disagree that Murray has a weak defence though. I think Murray is quite prudent in the ring and has decent footwork but I believe Rees will have the confidence to chase Murray early and leave no stone unturned in the first few rounds. If I were to say how either would win, (even then it's hard to say) I will go for the following

How it might work out for Rees - Lands less shots than Muray due to Murray's Jab however lands some nice hooks and pressures Murray for in fighting perhaps winning rounds on the more meaningful shots or greater work rate.

How it might work out for Murray - Lands the Jab on Rees and stays out of touble. Weathers an early storm and due to his conitioning wins the 2nd half of the fight on shots landed putting his punches together when Rees gets a little frustrated trying to close the gap.

I could be completely wrong but for some reason I can imagine either of these 2 scenarios panning out. Murray wins if its a boxing contest, Rees wins if its a fight.

In general, over the last year. Looks like his heart just isn't in it. Allegedly.

Hard to see Murray winning, fighting average boxers but i hope he does as he is a pure gent and has time to talk to everyone.
