It's true Ruiz is an easy mark for JP, but in the same sentence JP is a much easier task for Ruiz then Wilder/AJ or especially a in shape Tyson Fury.

This is similar to Glazkov vs Martin I reckon or Stiverne vs Arreola take your pick

Andy is faster then Stivern or aereola and has twice the experience. He can get in and out. A lot more versatile a boxer then those two

Ruiz has had 8 more fights but against far far worse opponents. His last currently rated opponent by Boxrec was his 28th opponent and is currently at 407th. The guy before that was 175. Parker got slammed for fighting a soft touch in Solomon Haumono who was mid 50s at the time is currently sits at 63. Parker took too long to take him out apparently, 4th round to be specific. Same as Ruiz took to beat #175 Ray Austin.

Ruiz has looked decent against guys Parker would be bagged for doing anything other than murdering.

Edit: Hang on, Franklin Lawrence is rated 55... similar area to Haumono and gave Ruiz a fight

Andy Ruiz is not just a fat guy, he's a mexican.
Fat mexicans are tougher than fat guys of most other types.
Problem is, Joseph Parker is an Samaon-Kiwi who are generally fat and tough too, but he's in great shape and that suggests he's uber-tough.

So has Parker. His Dad's name is Dempsey, his brother is fighting on the undercard. The Parker family have been boxing mad for generations
